This weekend’s third annual Bags and Bottles, a charity event for Gilda’s Club of Seattle, combines two of life’s greatest pleasures–purse shopping and wine tasting. Guests are invited to bring one new or gently used bag to be put up for silent auction.As wineries such as Tefft Cellars, Primarius, and Animale Wine begin to pour, the purses will be perused and bid upon–including donations from local celebrities like actress Josie Bissett, supermodel (and wife of SW columnist Duff McKagan) Susan Holmes, and Liz Weber, wife of Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard. Glass master Dale Chihuly will also be donating a very special handbag that will go home with the luckiest (or richest?) bidder.
