The Springwise site, “your daily fix of entrepreneurial ideas,” looks a little corporate, like it’s all some giant front for something, I don’t know what; but Bainbridge Island gets some love today for an upcoming farm fresh produce stunt. Farmers’ Market Targets Commuters With $5 BagsBeginning June 25th, commuters disembarking in Bainbridge will be met with pre-selected bags of $5 worth of fruits and vegetables (every 4:40pm and 5:30pm ferry). Sound Food and the Chamber of Commerce are cooperating on the event in an effort to encourage the the locals to buy and eat local. You have to admit; that’s pretty adorable.
