TASTE Restaurant, the new cafe at Seattle Art Museum (could TASTE SAM be the longest all-cap restaurant name ever?), just announced that it will be open tomorrow to feed the hoards who will be lining up outside for a first glimpse at the museum. That would, of course, be me, since I can never resist a lemming charge.Sorry, all you club kids who were planning on going after the bars close, TASTE SAM will only be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Want a peek at their menu? Visit the cafe’s just-launched website. The restaurant will close Monday and then open, for real, on Tuesday. If you do hit the cafe, be gracious to the new, and perhaps slightly panicked, workers.
