Last week, there was that Indian place that I didn’t like at all and didn’t feel warranted any more attention than it’d already been given. And the week before that? The Voracious Tasting slideshow(s) which were awesome, sure, but since they were snaps of an event that was already over, it wasn’t like you could run right out and eat what you were looking at.Well, this week, things are back to normal again, and in order to give you something to drool over this afternoon, I sent my photographer, Peter Mumford, out to El Mestizo (this week’s review) to shoot around the kitchen and dining room and give you folks a sense of what you’re in for when you check the place out this weekend.Because you are going to check it out this weekend, right? Not that I want to tell you what to do or anything, but seriously? You should.Photo courtesy Peter MumfordPeter tagged along after I was done with my eating and shot his way through the menu like a champ, capturing not only the style of the food being done at El Mestizo and some of the action in the kitchen, but also getting the sense of the room –a welcoming, friendly, casual place not yet completely grown into its space, but getting there in a hurry. I had a great time at El Mestizo. And by the look of things, Peter did, too.So check it out if you’ve got a minute. The review of El Mestizo can be found here. And the slideshow, right over here.
