Oysters for Ballardites! Calling all shellfish fantatics! Chef Renee Erickson of Boat Street Cafe plans to open a restaurant in the Kolstrand Building (4743 Ballard Avenue Northwest) by July, according to My Ballard. The Walrus and the Carpenter will serve up house-smoked fish, oysters, clams, mussels, and more. Winos, good news for you too! Four Post Alley establishments have joined forces to host a weekly wine hop that debuts Thursday, June 10. Kells, Post, The Tasting Room, and White Horse Tavern will offer $4 glasses of wine between 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, so you can hop stagger your merry way through the alley. Cheers!
