Just got an email this morning:I just wanted to send out a general notification that after 18 years our beloved Globe Cafe is shutting down. It has 18 days left until the lease is turned over to an Italian restaurant.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, vegans of Seattle. You have two weeks to make a last pilgrimage to 14th Ave. and Pine for the Globe’s famous biscuits and mushroom gravy. I’ve got an email back to the email’s author to learn more about the changeover, but in the meantime, any of you have details?
