I don’t know if blog readers follow bylines as much as we journalists do, but this week marks a change in ours: After almost three years of compiling the Weekly’s “Food Files” food events calendar, which appears in print and online, Adriana Grant is giving up the task to focus on writing about visual arts. Adriana’s been an amazing filter for thousands of press releases and cooking-class catalogs she has received, and I’m grateful that she compiled the calendar so well for so long.Appearing in Adriana’s place is another byline that may be familiar: Suzie Rugh, already the author of our dining e-newsletter, is adding Food Files to her writing duties. If you have a festival, cooking class, wine dinner, or some other event you’d like Weekly readers to know about, send it to Suzie and me at food@seattleweekly.com. Just remember, we need a minimum of two weeks’ notice.
