For those of you too lazy to have made the trip to Kenmore for the Washington Brewer’s Festival a couple of weeks ago, your sloth paid off. This weekend, the Seattle Mural Amphitheater hosts the Seattle International Beerfest, a three-day event featuring over 150 beers for tasting–everything from local microbrews to rare and expensive bottles. A $20 ticket gets you a tasting glass and 10 drink tickets, which could go quickly if you’re not careful; the 4 oz. tastes can run you up to four tickets. If you run out, get more for a dollar each (cash only), or head to the Grande Beer Garden for a full pint of Peroni or Pilsner Urquell for $4. Save your wristband and tasting glass for free admission on subsequent days, and if you arrive within the first hour, you’ll be rewarded with five extra drink tickets. Dogs are welcome, kids are not. $20. Fri. July 3, noon-10 p.m.; Sat., July 4, noon-10 p.m.; Sun., July 5, noon-7 p.m.For more events like this plus Farmers Market news, check out our Food Files listings.
