As we await the imminent opening of the rest of the farmers markets (starting next month with Columbia City!), pay a visit to the trusty stand-bys who have been braving the elements to provide us with fresh produce and other fabulous food year round. This week, head out to the West Seattle Farmers Market to say your thank-yous and pick up some newly arrived greens–like spring arugula, the delightfully named knucklehead mustard greens, and napa cabbage, a popular ingredient in Asian cooking. Also available this week: Spring flower bulbs arrive just in time to get them planted so they can bloom and brighten the looming grey days.
