Best Date Spot: Alki Beach

The people have spoken.

Nothing says romance like long walks on the beach … but seriously, Alki Beach might have it all: golden sand, a wide, bikable boulevard, dreamy wooden piers, candlelit dining, and, hands down, one of the most stellar views of the scintillating Seattle skyline available anywhere. Many besotted couples head to West Seattle on purpose to hold hands and make out here. Crimson sunsets, a bottle of bubbly, moonlight in her hair, et cetera. If you don’t believe us, just Google Image search “Alki Beach” — the sheer number of engagement and wedding photos that pop up should do well to make our point. Love wins! seattle.gov
