Nearly three dozen state brewers will be represented at this weekends Winter Beer Festival, from Redhook down to Port Townsend Brewing. That adds up to 75 different varieties of beer, ranging from Pumpkin Death to Frostbite Imperial Red. Admission gets you six tastings in five-ounce increments; after that, you can buy more tokens and drink all you want. (To help cut the heavy winter ales, we recommend the offerings from Theo Chocolate; or just go next door for dinner at Hales Pub to sop up the alcohol.) Awards will be given according to your votes. Thus, to be an informed voter, sampling all 75 drafts would require you to consume almost three gallons of beer. Just another ordinary weekend of drinking, in other words. (21 and over.) T. BOND
