The Fryes New Works quarterly reading series is just what it sounds likeauthors get together and make connections between the literary world and the visual art on display at the museum. Tonights performance may be most notable for the presence of Jonathan Raban, wholl discuss Albert Bierstadts painting Rainbow in the Sierra Nevada, but in my world, its all about local author Ryan Boudinot. He was the best in a group corralled by Hugo House to read during last years Bumbershoot, cracking the audience up with a selection from his book The Littlest Hitler. Here, hell be speaking on the art of Tim Eitel, a Berlin-based painter in the New Leipzig School, and hell no doubt find a way to make that endeavor your choice over a TGIF happy-hour.
