Bicycles, basement shows, and the DIY ethos. This is pretty much the mission statement of locals Bow & Arrow, who take plenty of cues from the 80s Washington, D.C./Dischord scene. There hasnt been much excitement in the local punk/hardcore scene of late, but Bow & Arrow bring exactly the jolt it needs. With these guys, its not about aping the precedent of Ian MacKaye so much as it is about playing their music with the same fury and passion. With Pleasureboaters.
