In her radio debate with Larry Phillips, leading King County Executive vote-getter Susan Hutchison exasperated KUOW host Steve Scher with her adherence to the talking points in the headline above. Now, she has another forum in which to deliver them–one that is more tolerant of, er, brevity. As of today, the Hutch is on Twitter: @HutchisonforKC.Her first tweet, sent today via text message, celebrates her “Landslide win on Tuesday.” And indeed, a 34.6% to 25.96% lead over Dow Constantine is a pretty good showing, but it hardly feels landslide when Constantine’s all but assured to get Sunglasses Phillips’ 12% of the pie.
