Somebody quite literally busted a cap in someone’s ass, early Sunday on

Somebody quite literally busted a cap in someone’s ass, early Sunday on the 6900 block of MLK Way, police say. A post on the Seattle Police Department website says that the 36-year-old victim was leaving an undisclosed restaurant around 2 am and was shot “in the butt” when he crossed the street. After he was shot, the man apparently ran back into the restaurant where someone saw him and called the cops. Seattle firefighters showed up and took him to the hospital. And since the victim didn’t want to talk about why on earth someone would want to wet him up, the gang unit showed up to canvass the area. During the search, police saw a shady looking 43-year-old named Antonnio “Tony” Thomas around the corner, posted up in his still running 1998 Volkswagen, on the 3800 block of South Willow Street. Sure enough, after a long chat they noticed that dude had a 38-caliber revolver under his jacket on a hip holster and no concealed weapon permit. So they booked him for a weapons violation.Seattle PD spokesman Mark Jamieson tells the Daily Weekly that the cops still aren’t sure if he was the trigger man.”We confiscated the weapon and impounded the vehicle,” he says. “We’re still conducting the investigation to determine if he was the shooter.”He also says that the victim should recover fine, and that the words “shot in the butt” in the banner headline of post on the SPD website were used for clarity purposes.”I think everyone who reads it knows exactly where he was shot,” he says.
