You can read the story on The Seattle Times’ website, but basically, the 26-year-old show promoter who got shot and killed on the streets (after the President’s Day bash he hosted last night– how awful) was an active member of his community and was not, as the article points out, in a gang or on drugs. The police department is withholding the victim’s identity until after his autopsy tomorrow. For now, I’d like to offer my condolences to the family and friends of the victim, for whatever they’re worth. Rest in peace, promoter man. I hope your killer is brought to justice quickly. We’ll post updates as new developments arise.
