Kevin Collabo, Truckasaurus’s Hip-Hop Party. Neumos, 925 E. Pike St., 709-9442. 8 p.m. $10.Truckasaurus is back at it; after last February’s “Head Like an Espresso Truck,” which meshed the band with local groups Fresh Espresso and Head Like a Kite, the local electro-trio is throwing another one-off party. Tonight’s show–also band member Adam’s 32nd birthday–features more than 30 of the town’s finest emcees including Spaceman, Grynch, Geologic, Khingz, Ra Scion, State of the Artist, SOL, Champagne Champagne, Mash Hall, and about two dozen more. It’s a long, exciting list. And to get a preview of the night, check out Truckasauras/Mash Hall collaboration “Meet Your Replacement”–one of many songs you’ll hear tonight. From the Blogasaurus:This show is a MASSIVE step for Truckasauras and the continued crossing of genres that is becoming the defining aspect of what has been dubbed Seattles 3rd wave Hip Hop scene. To be honest we like to take genres and have some serious adult fun with ’em before we let them out of Vanbo in a Fred Meyer parking lot far from home. For this show we are inviting thirty friends, who happen to be some of the towns hottest MCs, to join the party and have a good time. Chuuuurch!
