You thought SIFF was over? Wrong. The festival is reprising some of its most popular titles this weekend, including the Golden Space Needle Award-winning The Hedgehog. Also recommended are the Korean Castaway on the Moon, the Polish The Reverse, The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls (from New Zealand), and the Russian Cold War musical Hipsters, about which our Gavin Borchert recently wrote: "The finale is absolutely worth the wait: an explosive, blissed-out shout of individual freedom in a context where that actually means something. I can’t recall the last time I got such a lift from a musical. And even though the film is far less grim than it could be—John Waters, not George Orwell, is the guiding spirit here—the triumph still feels fully earned." See siff.net for full weekend schedule.
