Pioneer Square Saloon

A calm watering hole tucked beneath the Pioneer Square Hotel, the Pioneer Square Saloon offers a no-frills evening among the surrounding chaotic bars and clubs. There’s never a cover, and because the music is set at a volume that won’t disturb the hotel patrons above, it’s a good location for grabbing a post-work pint or pre-party cocktail. Electronic dart boards and a pool room in the back provide entertainment; green chalkboard walls surround the latter. Covered in colorful sketches and drunken scribbles, they provide a little entertainment while waiting for your turn to shoot. The Saloon serves no food, but they don’t mind if you bring something in from elsewhere. 73 Yesler Way, 206-628-6444.
