Tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Westlake Center Starbucks, just in time for the holiday shopping crush, there’ll be an Oxfam-organized demonstration. They’re trying to convince the coffee giant to sign a licensing agreement with Ethiopia, giving the country greater control over the names of their coffee crops. (See Oxfam backgrounder here.) Members of Seattle’s Ethiopian community will supposedly be there as well, performing a “traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.”
