A perfectly pale pair.
A perfectly pale pair.
Yummy.
As if politics weren't theatrical enough...
Foolish nerfcops, even neon foam darts won't hold back the legions of living dead.
Take heart little zombie, years of practice go into perfecting the snarl.
Zombies with hops.
A picturesque couple.
21st century zombies are as tech- savvy as anyone.
The living hardly stood a chance.
Impossible to contain.
Zombies for a cause.
When the unformed twin is allowed to continue growing...
Serving up some gruesome appetizers.
What do zombies have in common with Sarah Palin?
Brain feast.
These undead seemed to have developed immunity to the sun's usually harmful rays..
Bitten at a young age.
A muzzled unicorn is a sad sight.
Batman wears a Joker-style evil grin.
This volunteer went for the subtle, bruised look.
Caricatures of characters.
A whole new reason to ogle at boobs.
Star Trek, back from the dead.
Makeup artists work magic.

This year, the living dead of the Red White and Dead Zombie Walk were on a mission: smash the Guinness World Record for most zombie walkers -stolen from them this past October by New Jersey zombies. On Saturday, July 2, 4,522 moaning, groaning, bloody bodies drug themselves through Fremont and reclaimed their record, beating New Jersey’s 4,093 walkers. This year, with two beer gardens, food trucks, bands, and a makeup artist on hand to make sure everyone was adequately pale and bloody, there was no way the record was staying on the East Coast.Photos by Stephen GiangIf you need more zombies, be sure to check out:2010 Red, White and Dead Zombie Walk2010 ZomBcon2010 Zombie Prom2009 Red, White and Dead Zombie WalkPublished on July 5, 2011
