This week, Vernal Coleman tells the amazing saga of David Struckman, who built a tax-avoidance empire from his home in Issaquah. Unfortunately the “pure trusts” he suckered thousands of people into buying were pure air. He was eventually brought down by the feds. Even as his prison term comes to an end, he’s continued to fight prosecutorial misconduct in the case. A ruling was just handed down, and Vernal will have an update to this 4th of July story of all-American, anti-government ingenuity today.
