A Few Words About Journey, White River Amphitheatre, and God: We got there at about the same time you did aE” so, so sad to miss Heart's set. AUGH. At least someone was kind enough to blast Dreamweaver in the parking lot while we waited to leave. The traffic person said it was the worst he'd ever seen it, and made some slam on old people. Kinda funny. - Submitted by Katelyn

Last Night: The Raconteurs at WaMu Theater: The concert was AWESOME!! They were so together musically. Jack White is obviously the most well-known but they played as a group and sounded phenominal as a group. I haven't been smushed together with a mob of people for a concert since 1982 but last night it was worth it! Thanks for posting pics and my cell phone could not capture anything right! - Submitted by Mary

Duff McKagan: Flying On 9/11: I've actually never really had insight into someone's state of mind after 9/11- someone who was for the war at the time- and how and why it changed. I remember people getting seriously pissed at me back then for being a pussy peacenik (I maybe was too much so, even) when I tried to get insight into their way of thinking. But that sort of attitude has mellowed, as evidenced by the polls- and yet folks are sometimes reluctant to admit they've had a change of heart. Thanks for the insight. - Submitted by Liz R.

Bremerton Profanity Needs a Miracle: So stupid to try and FORCE a community into being rather than working with what it IS. I have lived in or around Bremerton for over 30 years and I can tell you that the off-summer clientele (read locals, shipyard workers, navy enlisted, etc) will not be interested in the types of businesses propsed for downtown. So they will probably all go bust anyway, in the cold wet winters. . .and then there will be more urban blight down there, sigh... - Submitted by Victoria
