Nor could Saturday's starter Erasmo Ramirez, who despite a decent outing, still wound up taking a loss on his record.
The real problem through the weekend came not in the pitching...and not even in their defense, which like the pitching, wasn't terrible.
But Sunday's starter, Aaron Harang, had the worst day of all. He gave up seven runs.
What did the series in was the notable abscence of any offense whatsoever. The Ms only knocked in two runs - the whole series.

The less than awesome plays left fans feeling unstandably hopeless.
Or little Liam Deyoung, who was clearly over the moon getting to meet the Mariners Mascot.

Pies being tossed into the face of opposing team fans...
Still, even when the Ms are down, you can still count on peanuts being sold...
