The president-elect has been declared the winner in North Carolina, bringing Obama’s tally of fuck-you states — i.e., states that were thought to be solidly conservative (versus mere swing states like Florida and New Mexico) that Obama didn’t need to win but won anyway — to at least three: Indiana, Virginia, and now Carolina.
