The nightlife in the lily-white, picturesque yuppie paradise of Kirkland has gotten a little too frisky for some downtown residents, according to the Seattle Times. “It’s an age-old dilemma,” said Kirkland Lt. Rex Caldwell. “When you build condos next to restaurants and bars, you will generate complaints about those that are unhappy with noise and litter.”The age-old answer, of course, is that new condo residents should suck it up and accept the fact that this is the neighborhood they moved into.
