Supposing that every folk hero deserves a theme song, a ballad that illustrates for one and all the true character of their deeds, or in some cases, misdeeds, it was probably only a matter of time before someone wrote a song about Rick Wilson, the alleged former owner of Cafe (Un)American who in the aftermath of last week’s police raid of a Capitol Hill underground gaming house now faces federal drug trafficking charges.Enter local M.C., King DRO and the P.I.M.P. Dynasty, whose hushed ode to Cafe (Un)American, “Shhh…Speak Eazy,” conjures images more in keeping with the Playboy Mansion than the garage that reportedly housed Wilson’s former club.
