Summer Hughes gives hope to 14-year-old boys all across America. The fetching 29-year-old from outside of Spokane (pictured at right) was asked to babysit for a friend. The woman had three kids, including the aforementioned teen, who Hughes apparently took a liking to.The Spokesman-Review reports that the boy told police that he and Hughes had sex four times during the summer of 2007. The boy’s family members also alleged that Hughes talked openly about being in love with the kid.Hughes was arrested last July and was facing felony charges for lewd-conduct. But at a preliminary hearing in May, her teen accuser claimed the sex acts occurred on dates when Hughes was out of state.The prosecution claims the slip-up was just the result of a teen’s faulty memory. But neither they nor the defense were willing to risk a trial. So Hughes plead to four lesser counts of misdemeanor injury to a child yesterday and was sentenced to two years of probation. She also lost her marriage and a job she’d held for 10 years as a result of the accusations. “I am tired of going to court,” Hughes said. “I want to put this behind me.”
