So, a state judge has ruled, unwary voters might pull the lever or mark their ballot for Dino Rossi on Nov. 4 because they were unaware his preferred acronym, GOP, stands for Grand Old Party. Which in turn translates as Republican, if you ask anyone over age 40. But Rossi doesn’t want that, because he stands for change. Democrat, Republican–those are old-fashioned labels, monikers for outdated politicians like Gov. Chris Gregoire (or so Rossi would argue).What other new shorthand devices might Rossi like to try this election season? We see his campaign employing the following (with translations):
