Maria Cantwell and gubernatorial candidate Jay Inslee visited the UW campus last week to chat with students about how the election would impact their future. While both promised to be a friend to higher education, the candidates’ campaign status affected the presentation. With a secure lead in the polls, Cantwell talked specifics and asked for input.
