Sadly, there’s not much to report. After the town hall meeting in Bremerton, I asked the Rep. Norm Dicks — who represents the Bremerton ferry-dependent 6th congressional district — how he felt about Bremerton getting the shaft in the system. This is what he said before moving on:Dicks: “Well, I’m for our ferry system and I want to see it expanded. I know there’s been a few accidents, and we’re concerned about that. But I’m supporting trying to increase funding at the federal level for our ferry system.”
