Ron Sims is one step closer to finally making the leap to D.C.

King 5 reports that the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee voted unanimously to confirm Sims after a hearing Friday that involved no questioning. He still has to be confirmed by the full Senate, but that’s not likely to be a problem assuming he filed his taxes on time this year.
