Police say Hutson may still be in the Seattle area. For Jymaika “Tiger 6” Hutson, the world just got a little smaller. A known member of the Central District-based Deuce 8s gang, Hutson has been announced by police as the chief suspect in a 2007 shooting that left another man dead. On April 28, 2007, police arrived at the home in the Central District to find Tyree Lee lying face down in the street after being shot multiple times. He died at Harborview Hospital a short time later. Hours earlier, Lee and Hutson had both attended a barbecue at Powell Barnett park, say court documents. Witness accounts vary on whether there was any interaction between the two at the park. But according to court documents, one of the barbecue attendees told police that he heard Hutson say that Lee was present at an previous incident during which Hutson had been wounded by a shotgun blast. That, apparently, was enough to get Lee killed. After telling police in 2007 that he was somewhere else at the time of the shooting, the man investigators now believe drove Hutson to the scene of the murder has since recanted. During a follow-up interview in October, the witness told police that after following Lee to the home, Hutson allegedly stepped out of the passenger seat and fired several shots into Lee’s back.A warrant for $1 million has been offered for Hutson’s arrest, pending charges of first-degree-murder. But three years after the murder, police aren’t sure where he is.
