The march was both a protest and a celebration.

On Friday, people gathered for Trans Pride Seattle, a short march in celebration of transgender rights, on Capitol Hill.

Marchers used the event to protest against proposed ballot measure I-1515, which would restrict bathroom access for transgender people, and respond to the brutal attack of Michael Volz, a transgender person.
