Old Songs on a New Screen: Personally I have never played Guitar Hero or Rock Band, but I've always thought about one of the potential downsides after, believe it or not, watching the south park episode regarding guitar hero and I wanted to see if you feel the same way. I have this nagging worry that Guitar Hero and Rock Band will discourage kids from wanting to learn how to play actual instruments, and it might leave them content to let the game makers come up with the tunes. - Submitted by Zarik

Obama Nation: They say I may give a good speech, have some good policy proposals but the truth is that I haven't been in Washington all that long, Obama said. The say we need to season and stew him a little more, boil all the hope out him. Maybe he'll be ready in 20 years. Barack Obama, Feb. 8, KeyArena.

Dysfunction, Not Gays, Is a Threat to Marriage: This Prop 8 issue is another example of the recent method of 'Might Makes Right' politics in America. Foisted, this time, by the straight and intolerant SOB's in and around California. This is, of course, due to the over emphasis on the idea of 'Democracy' and the under emphasis on the broader, less bumper sticker friendly concept of our system of government which was designed to be a Constitutional Democracy (Or Constitutional Republic). A simple mob rule democracy is when two wolves and one sheep vote on what is for dinner, to paraphrase Ben Franklin. - Submitted by Scott Lindsley
