On the night of November 8, 2008, 31-year-old Dustin Willard came back to his Everett home after a night spent drinking with friends only to find himself locked out. Willard’s night, and his life, ended minutes later when police responding to a burglary call shot and killed him while he was standing in the doorway of his house holding a loaded shotgun. Now, 15 months after the controversial shooting, The Daily Herald has gotten its hands on over 800 pages of police reports from the official investigation conducted by a special team of homicide detectives.http://www.komonews.com/news/local/83048462.htmlhttp://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008375812_copshooting11m.html
