OK, OK, so Hari Kondabolu isn’t technically from Seattle. He was born and raised in New York and he went to college on the East Coast. But he got his start in stand-up comedy in the Emerald City, and once worked for the local immigrant-rights group Hate Free Zone (created in the months following 9/11, and now called OneAmerica), so we’re claiming him as our own.
