Now that the Hollywood writers’ strike is set to come to an end, expect the ’08 Presidential Campaign to lose a little prime time steam. For the past several months, as viewers have been subjected to an endless stream of re-runs, the networks have been pimping (that’s right, I said pimping — wonder if I’ll get suspended) Super Tuesday and the primary season at large as though it’s the hottest, newest reality show in TV Land. Fitting, then, that Chuck Norris has been part of the whole shebang, although it’s been awhile since we’ve seen Walker out on the trail. Maybe ‘ol Huck’s saving him for Texas.
