Not only was voter turnout for the Aug. 19 primary abysmal– at 34.86 percent it was the worst in the state. That’s right King County. Dead last by a long shot. In fact, Clark was the only other county to fall below 40 percent. Kudos to Columbia County for the best showing at 66.59 percent and to Jefferson, Lincoln and San Juan counties for also besting 60 percent. (County map below.) What’s your excuse County of King?
