Last Wednesday, 42-year-old Charles Parsons shot and killed his wife Carol during a couples counseling session in a Federal Way church. Then he called 911.Parsons shot his ex-wife five times in front of their counselor.On the tape, Parsons claims that he flew into a “massive fit of rage” before shooting his wife. Scarier still, he sounds utterly calm when talking to the dispatcher.Charles and Carol had been married for a dozen years — and had three young children together — before getting divorced last year. Carol apparently initiated the counseling sessions to encourage Charles to come to grips with the fact that she was dating another man. Charles reportedly asked Carol if she was going to stop seeing the man. It’s alleged he brought out the gun after she told him no.
