La Vie PhotographyCourtney Gregoire, who returned to Olympia from D.C. in August to marry, has left her post as legislative director for Sen. Maria Cantwell. At 18 months, she braved the senator’s notoriously brutal office a little longer than the average. For now, Gregoire’s hitting the campaign trail with her mom. She did the ‘ask’ last month at a fundraiser at the Century Ballroom, telling the Democratic faithful that they need to reelect the governor because she’s the state’s best hope for creating new jobs– something Gregoire said she and her new husband Scott will need so they can remain in their native Washington. Awaiting word from Cantwell’s office as to whether they’ve found a replacement.Update: Oops. Old news. The AP had mention of Gregoire’s move in a piece in the PI about her wedding. Still, a terrific excuse to post an adorable photo of the gov and her daughters. Right?
