KOMOOne neighbor said Spies often had multiple teenage girls over at his apartment.As a teacher at a Bible school in Auburn, Scott Spies is well-versed in the verse. He just apparently glossed over the part where it said it’s supremely un-Christian to sleep with your students. (I believe it’s in Corinthians.)The 49-year-old was arrested last week on suspicion of having sex with a 16-year-old student. Investigators say Spies and the girl started hanging out last February when she was only 15. The friendship got inappropriate this fall after the girl returned form a trip to Thailand, with 15 sexual encounters in all, say police.Administrators at Auburn Adventist Academy have since fired Spies. And neighbors have come forward to say that the teacher often spent time alone with young girls. Including one night last year when a neighbor alleges that Spies returned home with “three Asian teenage girls.”Spies is now being held on $150,000 bail for investigation of molestation, indecent liberties and sex with a minor.
