It’s probably not the most unexpected piece of news that tolling on the 520 floating bridge has cut deeply into the number of drivers crossing Lake Washington on it — most of them heading to the I-90 bridge. Washington liberals couldn’t predict the behavior of a maze rat smelling out a piece of cheese, let alone how this toll would affect driving behavior. My 11 year-old figured it out right away when I told him about it, though.
