It’s never a good idea to lie to the cops. Especially when you’re trying to become one of them. A State Patrol employee pulling in to work on October 6 noticed the book “How to Beat a Lie Detector” in he car next to hers. Her supervisor quickly traced the car back to a man taking a polygraph test in the building, in hopes of getting a job. Needless to say, he is no longer a candidate. (KOMO)
