It’s good to hear we’re winning the war in Iraq and that it may even be over, and that troops will be home in time to add to George Bush’s legacy. The news comes a little late for Army Pfc. Marius L. Ferrero, 23, of Miami, Cpl. Jason T. Lee, 26, of Fruitport, Mich., Cpl. Christopher J. Nelson, 22, of Rochester, Thurston County, Sgt. Kenneth R. Booker, 25, of Vevay, Ind., Sgt. Christopher R. Kruse, 23, of Emporia, Kan., and Cpl. Peter W. Schmidt, 30, of Eureka, Calif. They are Fort Lewis soldiers just killed in Iraq, and added to our War Dead pages. The news comes a little late for these folks, too, and as many as 1.1 million others. But good news it is.
