It may be the job that you all think should be elected, not appointed, but apparently no body wants to run for it. King County Council Chair Julia Patterson’s out. Darcy Burner, as it turns out, isn’t interested either. And neither is longtime elected elections director advocate Toby Nixon, apparently.
