In August, 13-year-old Lillian Star Taylor was found dead in a tent while camping with her mother and her mother’s friends in Beaver near the Olympic Peninsula. Now, according to a recently released toxicology report, it appears that the Port Angeles girl died of a methadone overdose. Clallam County Sheriff’s Sgt. Lyman Moores says it looks like Taylor took 10 pills, a tremendous amount considering it’s possible for an adult to OD on just one. An investigation into how Taylor got the pills is still ongoing.
