I went to Carkeek Park this weekend. If you’ve been to the beach there — and if you haven’t, you should — then you know it runs parallel to train tracks. I’ve always thought this mix of mountains, ocean, sand and chug-a-chug-chugging commerce was swell. Never thought much about the people actually driving the trains. But after seeing the sign posted after the jump strung to the chain-link fence surrounding the tracks, I have a feeling that will change.Best wishes to you, Eric. And Nicole, on the very off-chance that you’re reading this, maybe shoot the poor guy an e-mail. Something for the effort, ya know?
