I listen to the podcasts of several of the Sunday-morning news programs — Meet the Press, Face the Nation, Fox News Sunday, and This Week With George … — and I couldn’t help but notice that this week, none of the shows dedicated a serious amount of time to Iowa’s TK. And none of them gave it more airtime than the president’s new puppy. OK, take your shots at the media (here). But, then I realized something else. You didn’t march in the streets in celebration.It was just TK days ago that however many people marched through the streets in opposition of Prop. 8, the amendment that has peppered first avenue with ACLU kids asking me to help overturn. (Nobody ever asked me to help make gay marriage legal in this state, mind you.) But, back to this weekend. Why no march? Are people passionate enough about this issue to take to the streets only willing to do it out of anger?
