Hey everyone, it’s that thing you never asked for and will now avoid as best you can: a Lifetime made-for-TV movie about the Amanda Knox case! Hayden Panettiere, she of cheerleader fame on “Heroes” and nothing much since then, will play Foxy Knoxy in the movie scheduled to air next year. There’s no word on the tone of the film or how it might portray Knox, but given that this is Lifetime, you can expect it to be three shades of horrible, exploitative and guaranteed to piss off everyone with a personal stake in the situation.
